Reducing your calorie intake by even 500 calories a day can really make a difference to your weight. In fact, you can lose a pound a week just by cutting out a few small things from your diet plan. By simply swapping your morning latte and muffin to an Americano with a splash of milk and a banana, you can easily cut 500 calories before the day has even started! We recommend starting your day with antioxidant packed mixed berries, blueberries, strawberries or pomegranate seeds with porridge and pro-biotic yoghurt. Whether it’s getting off the bus one stop earlier, taking the stairs instead of the lift, or leaving the car at home for the school run, adding a little more exercise into your diet can really make a difference. When tired we tend to eat more to compensate for our lack of energy. It also means that we are far more likely to reach for unhealthy comfort foods such as crisps, chocolate or calorie laden carbohydrates. In order to give yourself the best chance of losing weight, try little changes like a relaxing bath before bed or implementing a steady routine where you try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.
